Privacy Policy for HD - Product Addons

This privacy policy outlines how "HD - Product Addons" ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you install and use our Shopify app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we handle.

1. What Data We Collect

We only collect data necessary for the app to function. Based on our app's design, we divide this data into two categories:

• Shopify Account Data: When you install the app, we receive and store information required to connect to your store via the Shopify API. This includes your shop domain (e.g.,your-store.myshopify.com), an API access token, and the email address, first name, and last name associated with your store owner account.
• App Configuration Data: We store the data you create within the app. This includes all Addon andAddonSet configurations (like titles, prices, descriptions, and images) and the Product information you link them to.

2. What Data We DO NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, process, or have access to any of your customers' personal data.

This includes, but is not limited to, customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or order histories.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide App Services: To display addons, link them to your products, and use the Shopify API to create draft orders when a customer checks out.
• To Communicate With You: We may use your store owner email address to send important updates about the app or to respond to your support requests.
• To Verify Your Account: To confirm your shop's identity and secure your connection to our service.

4. Data Deletion (GDPR & Compliance)

We fully comply with Shopify's mandatory data privacy webhooks.

• shop/redact (App Uninstall): When you uninstall our app, Shopify sends us a shop/redactrequest. Within 48 hours of receiving this request, we will permanently delete all data associated with your shop from our database. This includes your session information, all Addonand AddonSet records, and all Productlink records.
• customers/data_request & customers/redact:As stated in Section 2, we do not store any personal customer data. When we receive these webhooks, we will _ verify that no customer data exists in our system and acknowledge the request to Shopify. No customer data is sent or deleted because none is stored.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through a notice in the app.
